I thought you all might like to see this picture. Its from the Arabian Sport Horse National Show in Nampa Idaho this last week. What is a Arabian Sport Horse National Show? I have no clue all I no is that Lori Hart is Darn Good at it. They say she is the Michael Phelps of Arabian Sport Horse National Show Circuit. More importantly what about the horse????? All I know is the horses name is horse Pikhasso. Maybe I’ll get more info to pass it on. Congrats to Lori for another National Championship and a Reserve National Championship. What that all means? I guess you have to eat hay to understand it all.

Pooper Scooper

As most of you know Andrea, our manager in Campbell, has finally returned from her honeymoon with Mike. The rumor mill is already churning, we have learned while in Thailand Andrea was running short of money so she had to pick up a part time job inorder to pay the hotel bill. Being from Campbell she is very accustomed to picking up behind two pigs, so it was no wonder why her job in Thailand would be any different except she was picking up after the elephants. Pictures don’t lie.

Another Baby?

Of course, cuz here at the Outback if we’re not working we’re *#@*@#. But seriously, we had another baby girl born the day after Brian White had his child. Gazpar and Roario are the proud parents of their second child. Rosario gave birth at around noon on Friday, less than 24 hours after our last baby. Her name is Sara Michele and she wieghed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 inches long. A lot of similarities between Ashlyn and Sara, coincidence? You be the judge. No matter, we wish Gazpar and Rosario all the happiness in the world with their new addition.

Baby Ashlyn

It’s been a long time since I have posted anything lately but nothing can motivate someone more than the birth of a child. On September 26th around 7 pm, Ashlyn White was born to the proud parents of Brian and Kim White. She was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Haven’t seen a picture yet but we’ll all hope and pray she is the spitting image of her mom. Congratulations to Kim and Brian on the birth of their second child. Brian is the proprietor in Cupertino. Just think 27 months ago he was single with no kids now he is married with two kids. Don’t drink the water in Cupertino.

Foaming at the mouth

It seems that there is a bit of confusion out there about beer foam. At a recent stop in an Outback I noticed the bartender was pouring a beer and allowing it to continue to run allowing the foam to pour out of the glass and down the drain. Of course being one of the most positive people in the restaurant, I said, “XXX you are doing a great job and I was just curious about the beer you’re pouring. Does it matter if there is foam going down drain?” Okay, so maybe I didn’t quite say it that way but that’s what I meant when I snapped and said, “Quit pouring the beer down the drain and wasn’t our money!” You know it is a political year and everything we say has two meanings. Her response was “it’s just foam and not beer”. Guess what foam is, beer. Think of it this way, rain is like beer as clouds are like foam. As foam flows down the drain so does our beer in the next few weeks you will be getting a guide to draft beer. This is a very informative booklet to both pouring the best and most profitable beer. Please take the time to review this as managers and bartenders cuz it might be the solution to foaming at the mouth.

It’s late Friday night and I’m struggling as I sit in front of the monitor for hours trying to get the creative juices going. Oh well, I guess I’ll just keep trying. Let see! Hmmmm! Is anything going on?????? What is special about today???? Nope nothing I can think of. Oh wait, I just thought of something. How could I forget, September 12th is a very special day. It is a day that we celebrate one of the great momments in World History. Something very few know about. It is Lloyd’s Birthday. Being a humble man, Lloyd wants to keep this important date in history very quiet and we can sincerely respect that because candidly, I don’t want to get punched. So a warning to all if you do wish him a Happy Birthday, I’d be on the other end of the telephone if you decide to ask him how old he was? Happy Birthday Lloyd and thanks for all the past and future memories.

I Don’t Know But I’ve Been Told

Customers are more likely to order from choices rather than choose an item themselves.
