Thanks Outbackers in Cupertino for making it easy on me and showing hospitality to our customers.

Often we come to the Outback in Cupertino, CA.  Everytime we come we get greeted service at the front door everytime by Dana and our server is Adrienne.  Both of these ladies are always a welcome part to our outback experience and a large part for us making outback a regular eating habits is because of there amazing personalities.  We just wanted to say Thanks Dana and Adrienne!!!

Even when their is a concern by the customer, if it is taken care of quickly and sincerely we still can leave an incredible impression. Just like the Outbackers in Sac 2, Great job.

I took my family out to this restaurant on Sat.8/28/2010 and could not have had a better meal ANYWHERE,it was absolutely the best.I also want to compliment our server,Austin, who was very polite and right there whenever we needed anything. The manager was very helpful also, when my wifes steak wasn’t done enough and brought it back from the chef,he also brought back another serving of mushrooms. We will definitely return to this restaurant.Kudos to you and your employees.

He simply posted:

“I owe- I owe off to work I go”

Speaking with him on his return I learned that Robert upgraded his transportation during his time off to a, well let’s not say. Okay, a hint. CTS. Which explains the post on his facebook.

Then the is a picture on his facebook page was forwarded to me. I guess a week in Maui explains the whole sunburn thing and reaffirms the post “I owe- I owe off to work I go”

However, Robert being the type of person he is, that  just wasn’t quite enough. Vacation to Maui. A new car. What else could he do on his time off. Well the next post on his facebook pretty much answers that.

“I’m engaged-and so very lucky-wedding next year keep ya informed”

Again reaffirming the first  post “I owe- I owe off to work I go”. Wow, I’m sure glad he only had one month off, could you imagine what would have happened if he had a longer sabbatical.

We do want to sincerely congratulate Susan and Robert on their engagement, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer couple!

September 2, Greg Gebhart celebrates his birthday. We won’t get into which one cause you’d never believe it. If I’m not mistaken that would make Greg a Virgo. Let me think, Hmmm. Many astrologers have written up Virgo’s as being fussy and narrow-minded. Describe Greg? You decide. Or is it Virgos are givers and when the chips are down and you need a friend, the one available during those testing times when you need advice or companionship the most. Again you decide. No matter what you decide, Greg has been a tremendous Partner for in Rohnert Park since it opened in and we wish him the best of Birthdays!

It seems in Fresno there is a unique new marketing technique. What do you think? I hear you get to pick the color of the swim suit. Maybe something we will consider in the distant future.

Comments:

We are frequent diners at your Modesto restaurant and had dinner there last week (8/20).  Kristin H. was our server and I wanted to pass along that her service that night was outstanding.  We’re used to the typical good service, but Kristin went out of her way to make our experience enjoyable.  She was very patient with our unique orders and very informative responding to our questions.  We had our two young daughters and a baby with us, which can be a challenging situation, but Kristin took it in stride and made our night very enjoyable.  Thanks Kristin!

Comments:

We ate at Outback Pleasant Hill last night and had A-MAZ-ING service.  The server was Michael (pretty sure).  We had a few picky people and a baby.  Michael listened, wrote everything down, got everything right, and was attentive and nice.  Quickly brought us our appetizer and drinks and was not pushy at all when we did not drink (bc we don’t).  He definitely deserved the tip we gave him and I would drive down there to give him a tip again and have him serve us again.  THANK YOU for being so great.  (from all former outbackers and current restaurant manager)

Comments:

I would just like to say that the management staff and wait staff at this location are very good. Not only did they bring out everything on time, kept our drinks full and allowed us to have our time together, but they handled a very sensitive and potentially embarrassing situation discretely and privately. Thank you for an excellent evening.

Customer Comments:

I had dinner with my husband, my sister and her boyfriend tonight at Outback in celebration of a birthday.  Unfortunately, my sister and friend arrived first which was inconvenient because we were meeting to surprise her friend.  When we arrived, I tried to explain to the hostess what had happened and that we needed to be seated at a table for 4.  The hostess didn’t seem to understand, and suggested I could walk through the restaurant looking for the other couple.  I explained she had just seated them (my sister called me from the ladies room to get our location in traffic) and he was hard to miss as he is 6′8″ tall.  She still looked blank and then said she would look for them in the restaurant.  I was very frustrated, and explained I just needed a table for 4.  She took off into the restaurant…not sure what she was doing, and just then a most wonderful hostess came to the rescue.  Kelly asked what I needed, and I again explained what was suppose to happen.  She asked if we wanted a booth or table and escorted us to our choice.  By then we had spotted my sister and we told Kelly where they were seated and she quietly moved them to our table and…Surprise!!  It was perfect and Kelly was terrific!!  Our server was Haylie. She was absolutely wonderful.  We never had a empty glass or wanted for anything all evening.  She was patient with our ordering appetizers while we had some indicision. She never even “batted an eye” when we asked to increase the size of our steaks on the orders of steak and lobster, from what was on the menu, and kept the extra plates and glasses “bussed” for a more pleasant dining experience for us.  I was very impressed with Haylie’s service as she was always available but never intrusive.  This is especially impressive to me as I find it so rarely today, and I am a former waitress (yes, it was a while ago) and also restaurant manager.  Thanks to both Kelly and Haylie for such a wonderful experience tonight.
